Can be made soft serve style or frozen until creamy thick like traditional dairy ice cream. Tastes fantastic as soft serve just out of the ice cream maker or frozen to make quality raw ice cream that your friends who love ice cream will never know it's not diary! Add your favorite edibles and, most importantly, enjoy!

Recipe Directions

1. Blend all ingredients in Vitamix until creamy smooth.

2. Make in your ice cream maker, as directions indicated, until creamy and thick.

Couldn't you just use coconut cream instead of mixing together a powder and milk?

I'm not fanatical or anything but is dry coconut milk raw? How is it manufactured? Your recipe sounds great! I'm just reluctant to incorporate anything into my diet at this point that is hard to digest.. you know the deal;-)

i cannot be sure. tom sells it at our local raw food store wwww.rawvegansource.com (used to be www.nwlivingfoods.com) so i had made the assumption...

you could always contact the family who makes it at : http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/coconut_milk_powder.htm and let us know what you find out.

thanks for asking!

I have raw cow's milk; any idea if that could be substituted for the coconut milk?

is it actually possible to find dark or amber agave nectar? i read this recipe and searched online for a long time. i like dark agave better and have been looking for it in stores to no avail either.

it does look like the raw agave they sell is in between light and dark so there may be some kind of compromise?

i've been making a fresher version of this using 3 cups of blended coconut meat/water instead of the coconut powder/water and it is simply divine! coconuts are mother's milk for all her children...

I've never seen dry coconut milk before...I'd be interested in where to buy it also, or do you have an alternate way to make this with a live young coconut? Thanks :)
