3 Red Delicious Apples, Cored, unpeeled, chopped
2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Agave, to taste
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Clove
1 pinch Salt
5 teaspoon Chia seed, powdered
Place all the ingredients in a Vita Mix, blender or FP and process until smooth. Chill and enjoy!

My oldest son loves apple butter and I usually keep a jar of organic in the fridge. Unfortunately, the last jar went sour. I decided to throw together my best guess since I had some red delicious apples on hand that I needed to use up. I was skeptical I would be able to “sell” him on a raw version but much to my surprise, he loved it. From now on, it’s fresh and it’s raw in this house!
