Yield1 large smoothie
1/2 cup raw oats (soaked)
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1 ripe banana
2 medjool dates (soaked)
Handful of raisins
About 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1. Soak oats and dates for a few hours for easier digestibility.
2. Combine all ingredients in a blender until creamy. If too thick, add water or almond milk.
3. Top with more cinnamon.

I have been craving oatmeal lately so i made this smoothie.
It was so delicious that when my husband had a taste, he asked me to make him one. ;)
You can make your own almond milk but I am a beginner so just used unsweetened almond milk (I know, maybe not totally raw, but what I had on hand). You can even add ginger for a “gingerbready” taste.
The almond butter made it really thick, and I had to add a bit of water to thin it out. It could have been eaten with a spoon as a raw oatmeal, but I made it into a smoothie since I had to leave the house. It was simply delicious!
I am thinking you can probably thicken this into a “batter” and make them into oatmeal cookies. ;)
