A sweet, creamy, and grainy pudding. Semi-frozen, it can be served as dessert or a snack. Increase the water and have it as a smoothie for breakfast.

Recipe Directions

1. Put strawberries (or any other berries in the blender), bananas, and water in a blender and blend.

2. Slowly add the softened figs, which blend better if they are roughly chopped or torn into smaller pieces.

3. Add almonds and continue to blend. Based on the consistency you want, you may add more water. To get this to be a dense pudding just use 1 1/2 cups. Add more if you want it to be more liquid.

Awww you're welcome Nyuszi, I wrote this after being on living foods for barely 10 days, did not know about nut mylks...now I would make it with almond nut mylk..but the ground almonds gave it a delicious graininess that I appreciate...I also love to soak dried figs (we have plenty of figs here in sicily and they are awesome) between the fig bits and almond bits when frozen ice crystals form themselves and it just makes it the most interesting desert texture wise. I have served this to plenty of omnivorous friends here in bella sicilia and they are always amazed that its natural, vegan and raw!

In fact anytime I make a raw appetizer or dessert people are suprised and almost baffled that yes there's no sugar, cream, milk, butter or eggs!

I call myself the raw appetizer and dessert ambassadress...it works!

love n' veggies to u dear and all xoxo D.
