If you like strange! I think these three things are optional but make it really good, and that much better for you. I also think adding a frozen banana would be good too, but I have not tried it yet.

Recipe Directions

1. Put durian pods in a bag in the freezer. This is a great way to store them. Make sure the pits are gone.

2. Freeze some strawberries too.

3. Put a durian pod and a few strawberries into the food processor.

4. Then add some raw cacao powder, maca powder, and mesquite powder.

no offense taken, Durian lovers will thank you for the recipe and hopefully 'Sedona' will find one in her area and give us some feedback on it.

No offense, but I disagree with the onions part. Custard? yes. And yes, there is another element, pungent something...hard to describe.....

A durian is a hug spiny football shaped thingy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durian )

You can find them in the states at many Chinese grocery stores usually in the frozen section, some places have them whole and some sell just the durian meat frozen. They smell like high heaven and if you have a place to open them outdoors, do use it. They are an acquired taste, sort of like custard with onions............errr..a lot of onions.
