Joined August 16, 2008<p>I am an artist, writer, and holistic healer and live with my husband on our farm in Saskatchewan, Canada.</p> <p>We are vegetarians for quite some years, vegan since February 08', except for raw honey, and mostly raw since June 08'. If we eat cooked food, it is after Macrobiotic principles, for example cooked whole grains and pulses, miso soup. We have a problem digesting sprouted legumes, but still like to include some cooked lentils into our diet, especially at winter time. I do have my diploma in Macrobiotics and so like to mix at times the best of these worlds.</p> <p>But I feel my very best when on purely raw food, and often quite simple... eating mono. I like fancy dishes and great new recipes, and like to experiment and invent new ones, but I am satisfied with just simple foods and way lesser as with cooked food. No cravings, no bloating, lost more than 10 pounds with ease and with not even trying!</p> <p>Otherwise I love riding my horses, painting, writing, meditating, biking, walking, swimming in a warm ocean :), nature, our dogs, our cats, veggies from our garden, food :), crystals, healing therapies</p> <p>My book <b>The Magical Horses</b> is being republished and the new revised edition will be launched this winter.
