Yield
2 cups -
Equipment
None
Ingredients
2 oranges (juiced)
1 cup macadamia nuts
2 inch piece of fresh vanilla pod
Squeeze of lemon or lime
Recipe Directions
1. Place all the ingredients in a coffee miller and blend until smooth. If you're making a larger amount, a more powerful blender such as a Vitamix or a food processor will work.
2. Add more nuts if you want a thicker creme. if you desire thinner, add more orange juice.
Sweet Adeline's Thoughts

Vanilla creme will keep for a couple of days in the refrigerator if you don't eat it all right away.
To make a creme that goes better with more savory dishes, use a bit more lemon or lime and less orange. Omit the the vanilla.
Great on top of ice cream!

i just made this recipe. it didn't turn out very good. and i don't understand how you could use a 'coffee miller' to grind this all up...makes no sense.
