This is a spin-off from my banana pancakes recipe.

Yield
5-6 sandwiches
Ingredients
3 bananas
1 cup flax seed
1 cup wheat germ
6 tablespoons raw cacao or carob powder
Banana ice cream
Recipe Directions
1. Blend the bananas, and then add the flax seed, wheat germ, and cacao.
2. Form into balls and place on a Teflex sheet.
3. Flatten them into patties with a spatula.
4. Dehydrate for 8 hours at 105 Fahrenheit, flipping half way.
5. Make ice cream by blending frozen bananas.
6. Form the sandwiches and enjoy!

i don't like bananas either but i found young coconut meat and soaked cashews is a yummy vanilla ice cream

How did you get the sides so nice and straight? Very professional looking!
I can see doing this and then rolling the ice cream part in walnuts or another nut or for more chocolate (never enough for me) in powdered cocoa.

z~ I bet this would be great with your favorite fruit ice cream or like a vanilla flavored nut/grain milk. Oooooh... add a little mint to a nut milk ice cream...with chocolate chips... The possibilities are only limited by your imagination... :-)

Another chocolate idea... dip the whole thing in the Raw Chocolate recipe. This would make a hard chocolate coating... yum! Never enough chocolate. lol
