Recipe Directions

1. Blend almonds, hemp, and water.

2. Strain using a nut milk bag. You should have about 1 cup “cream.”

3. Add cream to blender with berries, vanilla, and date paste.

4. Process in 1 1/2 quart ice cream maker.

Evergreen's Thoughts

Fresh creamy strawberry.

Also very good with real chocolate chips mixed in at the end.

Recipe can be easily doubled if using a bigger machine. Can also just be a smoothie. :)

Picture #2 shows sprouted almonds with skins removed. :)

You could try freezing the mixture in ice cube trays and then blending it in a Vitamix. I actually haven't tried making ice cream in my vitamix yet, but it looks pretty easy on the instructional video. :)

hi miss souffle:)...i don't think the hempseeds are necessary for the ice cream..they do add a creaminess and nutritional value, but if you wanted to try some brazil nuts or macadamia for the high fat content that would be a good sub:) lucky you coming into summer..hehe
