Joined April 5, 2008<p>I am one who follows the Lord JESUS with all my heart, mind & strength (spirit, soul & body)...and love HIM with every fiber of my being! I wanted to be the healthiest I could be for HIM in order to fulfill what HE has called me to do, which is ALOT! November 2007, during my prayer time, I asked HIM to show me a way to get my body in the best shape it’s ever been in, especially since I’m 45 years old (have been told I look 10+ yrs younger…a blessing, considering what I’ve been through) & want to continue looking and feeling better as I get older…not the other way around. The small things – as well as the big things – in our lives matter to HIM! My heart’s desire was answered very quickly!</p> <p>Just after Christmas of 2007, HE SUDDENLY put a very strong (compelling) desire in my heart to begin searching the internet for raw food recipes, when I came across a link that led me to this wonderful site! Since then, I have been monitoring it almost daily in search of more recipes that I can make which are healthy for me & Levi my African Grey Congo parrot. Plus, I continue telling people everywhere about this site.</p> <p>I am currently about 90% raw, and thoroughly enjoy this NEW way of eating! Actually, before Adam & Eve rebelled against GOD in the Garden of Eden, they ate all RAW…nothing cooked & no meats. I didn’t know that so many delicious RAW recipes were out there…many of them right here on this web site!</p> <p>I enjoy some of the following: Reading the BIBLE; Singing (worshiping THE LORD)...sometimes hours on end; Working on music; Spending time with Levi; Making some RAW recipes from this site (provided I have the ingredients to do so); Flight simming via my computer (will one day be a licensed pilot & already flew once), Crocheting, Knitting, etc.</p> <p>Thank you Kandace for creating this wonderful site & making it accessible to the multitudes! May you be blessed in all you do! Thank you also to everyone who has shared their awesome recipes with all of us!</p>
