I live in West Central Georgia, and have been transitioning to raw for the last several months. I’m about 70% raw right now —100% when I’m at home. I love this lifestyle. Preparation is so simple, and I feel so much better. I’ve also lost 30 pounds (and KEPT it off), with more to go.
I am a Christian, church musician, proud mother and grandmother, high school teacher (alternative education). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling (road trips where I do all the driving – my choice), antiquing (Early American and Depression), taking walks with and training my pooch, playing / practicing the piano, fellowshipping with friends, eating raw.
The pooch is a 4 year old miniature longhair chihuahua weighing all of 6 pounds. He has severe separation anxiety, a result of not being socialized as a puppy. He had been held very little when I got him at 5 months. It’s been a long journey, but well worth it and very gratifying. Our vet has been amazed at his progress. I’ll be more than happy to share our experiences with anyone who is in a similar situation.
