Joined October 20, 2007
Hi,I'm from Kentucky am 60 yrs young have 3 children who have given me 6 beautiful grandchildren. Was a vegetarian for a few years and decided to become vegan. While I was doing research, I stumbled on RAW and that was the end of that story last September and joined gone raw in Oct. Have never felt better in my life!!! Member of Tagged, Myspace, Plenty of Fish, Facebook, and Twitter...

I am so grateful for the raw healthy, healing and delicious food that I have the privilege to eat. smile

I am also just a little ole lady trying to be healthy and looking for a little ole man to be happy with for the rest of this journey here on earth... LOL

This is my personal injunction: To all those who live alone, or struggle now with loss or similar hurts, I submit there can be only one message be patient with your healing, yet remain resolute. Be hopeful, always, and learn to seize the good moments with your families and friends. Know, too, that life holds inexorably to its pace, and that none of us should ever voluntarily withdraw, accepting the role of the outsider or the non-participant. Given half a chance, the human spirit can, and will, regenerate.

Connecting with your light:

Feelings are the language of spirit :) If we avoid our feelings, we are avoiding spirit. Our feelings give us insight all the time to show us more and more of who we really are. Whenever we change our negative thoughts to more positive thoughts (positive and negative being relative terms), we align ourselves with who we really are. If the negativity isn't there anymore to weigh us down, or blacken our awareness, the light of who we really are will begin to shine through from within our hearts. Love, light, spirit, divine are all interchangeable terms for me. Love is all there is. Anything that suggests otherwise is only an illusion. Illusion must exist in order for us to have a physical reality. We are born into a physical reality, with a physical body. This is where we choose to forget our true spiritual essence. The purpose, and greatest joy in life, is re-remembering what we have forgotten. In this we can experience over and over again this incredible joy. This is also how we experience spiritual growth :)

We grow through our experiences. The more our awareness expands, the grander our vision. The more rich in spirit our lives become. The more deeply we connect with our light :)

Namaste

Happiness is not a reward - it is a consequence. Suffering is not a punishment - it is a result.

Robert Green Ingersoll

We're ALL are an important PIECE of the PEACE Puzzle. Germination is a process where all the vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential fatty acids (EFAs) that are dormant in nuts and seeds begin to activate and multiply. Germination also eliminates certain toxins and acids within the dormant nuts and seeds that would interfere with digestion. The germination process is the reason why "living nuts" are so light and easy to digest. After the germination, all-organic live food ingredients are added to the nuts, then they're dehydrated at a low temperature (110 F to 115 F) for up to five days. This preserves all the nutrition within the nuts and creates optimum flavor and digestibility. This is different than roasting nuts which is much quicker, but destroys vital enzymes and minerals. "Living nuts" are the perfect bridge for those looking to eat more healthy foods or switch to an all 'raw' diet without compromising taste.
